Ulster County Human Services Transportation Plans

The Ulster County Human Services Transportation Plan is being updated!  Please visit the project website to learn more.

The current Coordinated Public Transit/Human Service Transportation Plan can be viewed here; update will be completed in spring 2023.

The primary purpose of a Coordinated Plan is to identify the transportation needs of individuals with disabilities, older adults, and people with low incomes, provide strategies for meeting these needs, and prioritize transportation services for funding and implementation.  In addition, a Coordinated Plan is required as a condition of applying for and receiving Federal funds under the Elderly Individuals and Individuals with Disabilities (Section 5310) program.  The Coordinated Plan is intended to act as a blueprint for implementing a range of strategies to improve transportation services in Ulster County.
