2025 Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP)
The New York State Department of Transportation has announced a statewide solicitation for the TAP. Ninety-seven million dollars are available for community-centered, active transportation projects across New York State.
Eligible Sponsors: Local governments, regional transportation authorities, transit agencies, tribal governments, and more.
Funding Range: $500,000 to $7 million per project. NYSDOT will provide up to 80 percent of the total eligible project costs with a minimum 20 percent match provided by the project sponsor.
